CHRISTENSON IN THE COMMUNITY

Christenson Electric is proud of our community relationships and business partners. We strive to be an active participant of the vibrant region that we call home. One of Portland’s greatest civic treasures is the Trail Blazers. The team brings fans and friends alike together to combine into a passionate group of not only sports enthusiasts, but city supporters, who wear their Portland pride with enthusiasm.   

We are a long-time supporter of the Blazers. We maintain electrical service for the Moda Center and we are the preferred electrical contractor of the Portland Trail Blazers. Our corporate funding enables the Trail Blazers organization to assist numerous groups throughout the metro area. Institutions such as Children’s Cancer Association, Operation Full Plate and The Trail Blazers Foundation are just a few of the causes the team is able to sustain as a result of partnerships like ours. We are pleased to team up with such an incredible force for good in our community.

Community relationships and educational causes are another part of the support we offer to areas we serve. We are firm believers in the STEM education philosophy and provide resources to schools and other enterprises that focus on science and technology curriculum. Robotics clubs, science teams, and project-based learning are some of the educational causes we provide assistance to. We know that the young, bright minds of today will be the smart and innovative work force of tomorrow. We invest in students because simply put, they are our future.

Here at Christenson, we understand being a responsible and active member of our community is important. We invest in our employees, the causes they support and the many groups who embody our Committed Values of Integrity, Respect, Quality, Safety, Innovation, Customer Service and Teamwork. Wilkes Elementary Christmas Outreach:

Being good stewards of our community is an important aspect of what makes us who we are as a company. The most visible outreach we take part in is our partnership with Wilkes Elementary School. Since 2015 we’ve collaborated with the school to provide assistance to students in need over the holidays.

Each Christmas season our employees show us how big their hearts are by donating generously to this cause. This year we kicked off our season of giving with a party. We welcomed our employees, Wilkes Elementary and our corporate partners to get pumped up for this outreach. Many of you came out to show your support and we had a big surprise from our crew at Good Sam. They sent over a company truck filled to the brim with a food donation. They have set the bar high for this season’s campaign. Let’s see how big we can go each year.
